Actual button is far more discreet :)
What’s the first thing we do when we get up in the morning? Typically, we head to the bathroom to get ourselves ready for the day. At Crane’s Mill, in each master bathroom there is a small button that’s part of our “I’m ok” system.
The “I’m ok” system adds a sense of security and peace of mind for residents and their family members. Here’s how it works:
Each morning, we ask that our residents simply push that button to let our concierge know that you’re up and at ’em. Should a resident not press the button by a certain time, our concierge will make a phone call to make sure the person is ok. If there’s no answer, our team will go to the person’s apartment or cottage and knock on the door.
The “I’m ok” system truly is a great way to make sure everyone at Crane’s Mill is enjoying the retirement they deserve—one that’s full of fun and friends and free of fretting.
Plus, if a person should not feel well at any time, our 24-hour emergency pendant system provides around-the-clock emergency response for all of our residents.
Independent retirement living that’s luxurious and secure—that’s what residents at Crane’s Mill enjoy. If you’re interested in learning more, visit our contact page to schedule a tour.

Today is Veterans Day, and we pay special attention to a group of real American heroes.
Please join us in honoring our country’s veterans today. They are responsible for protecting the freedoms which we all hold dear.
At Crane’s Mill, many of our residents have served across the different branches of the military. Each year, we look forward to seeing their photos and hearing stories of their time in the service, in training, and when stationed overseas.
For more on the history of Veterans Day, you can click here to visit the US Department of Veterans Affairs website which has a complete account, along with resources for veterans and their families.
The leaves are falling and there’s a nip in the air, but Crane’s Mill is still as colorful as ever!
It really is hard to believe that the warm weather months are gone, the leaves are falling and winter is on its way.
The changing weather brings to mind one of our favorite resident-run programs: the Crane’s Mill greenhouse. Located in Towne Square just across from the library, the Crane’s Mill greenhouse holds a colorful collection of our residents’ plants and flowers so they can stay in top form all year long.
If you would like to come visit us in person, we would love to to see you and show you all our community has to offer, including our glorious greenhouse. You click here to schedule a tour or call us at 973-276-6700.
