A Well-Deserved Break for Caregivers
Memorial Day is soon approaching, and along with this fantastic time of year comes picnics, barbecues and time with family and friends. It also marks the beginning of summer when many of us pack up and take a vacation.
Some fancy hiking around the Grand Canyon, others enjoy soaking up the sun in Cape May. Whatever your pleasure, we all deserve some time away from home to regroup, and that goes double for caregivers.
Now through December 30, 2012, Crane’s Mill is offering an Assisted Living Respite Special:
Stay for one week, pay for only five nights (based on availability, some restrictions apply). This is a wonderful opportunity for caregivers to take a few days to recharge their batteries while enjoying the peace of mind that their loved one is being cared for by the area’s top Assisted Living professionals.
Please call us at 973-276-3017 or visit the Continuing Care section of our website to learn more about our Respite Care Program and the Assisted Living Unit at Crane’s Mill.
If you’ve had a chance to visit Crane’s Mill recently, you may have noticed the dining venues have been completely renovated. Top to bottom, soup to nuts, the dining room, grill and lounge are absolutely stunning.
Sue Knapp, our Director of Dining Services, was kind enough to share a small sample of the feedback she’s received from residents since the renovation. What she considers small we found to be an overwhelming collection of cards, letters and emails from residents and their families about the wonderful staff and delicious meals served at Crane’s Mill.
The letters range from heartwarming to humorous, all with the shared sentiment that the food, people and service at Crane’s Mill are truly exceptional.
We will share individual letters with you on a regular basis. In the meantime, they say a picture’s worth a thousand words:
