Apartment Home Showcase: The Morris

Join us for a tour of the “Morris” two bedroom deluxe apartment!

Just last week we snapped a few photos of one of our “Morris” apartment homes to share with visitors to our site. One of 18 available floor plans, the Morris is located in our Sycamore building and is just steps from Towne Square. The 1,111 square foot apartment features two large bedrooms complete with two walk-in closets, two full baths, an open living/dining space, well-appointed kitchen and more.

Like all Crane’s Mill homes, the Morris boasts a private, screened-in porch and outdoor storage area along with an in-unit washer and dryer.

You can view the gallery below, and be sure to also take a look at the Morris floor plan for ideas on how you might decorate each spacious room.

Next, we’ll tour our Creekside building with a focus on the “Orton,” also a two bedroom, two bath with den apartment. In the meantime, you can take a sneak peak of the floor plan (including a 3-D floor plan, complete with furniture) by clicking here.

Continuing Care

Crane’s Mill is a Continuing Care Retirement Community, or CCRC for short, so in addition to luxury apartment and cottage living, the community offers residents access to The Health Center.

The Health Center at Crane’s Mill includes Assisted Living, Memory Support, Skilled Nursing, and Rehabilitation. So, as a resident’s needs change, a CCRC like Crane’s Mill is able to provide the care they need without having to leave the community they call home.

In the coming weeks, we’ll further explore each area of the Health Center at Crane’s Mill, including the services, amenities and people that make it one of the area’s best elder care facilities.

Crane’s Mill Resident ‘In The News’

Stan Beck, a new resident to Crane’s Mill in West Caldwell, NJ, was featured in the West Essex Tribune in celebration of 59 years of service on the Livingston Fire Department.

Stan Beck Retires From Active Fire Duty After 59 Years of Service With LFD

“I always wanted to be a fireman,” says Stan Beck, who recently retired from active duty with the Livingston Fire Department after more than 59 years of service. Instead, Beck became a pharmacist, but he was able to fulfill his childhood dream by joining Livingston’s volunteer squad in 1953.

Although Beck, who is now 87 years old, actually stopped going out on fire calls several years ago, he has now marked his official retirement from active duty. To remain an “active” firefighter, one must live in a town that is contiguous to Livingston and Beck’s new residence is two towns away in West Caldwell.
